This course will give learners an overview of mental health conditions, the responsibilities of being a mental health first aider, and how to set appropriate boundaries as a mental health first aider.
This course gives an overview of vicarious trauma and resilience in roles that involve working closely with people who have experienced trauma. Learners will examine personal and organisational risk factors, understand the limits of individual self-care, and explore how resilience and compassion satisfaction can develop through the work. The course emphasises shared responsibility between individuals and organisations in supporting wellbeing and sustainable practice.
