In duty care, we have three principles;

acts in the best interest of individual or others,

Acts within your competence and roles,

Not Acts not or fail to act in the manner that results in acts.

Internal risk assessment we learned that an internal risk assessment is a quick way to determine whether the task we are about to complete is safe for the individual you are caring for and for yourself or for other people.

Comments and complaints. we learned to understand the differences of individuals utilizing services, monitor the quality of care provided by the staff, identify strengths and also understand the changing or varying needs of individual

We also learned we can not be perfect in all ways in the wrong to do. As much as we try to avoid mistakes sometimes things go wrong. The circumstance and what has gone wrong are called Adverse events, errors, incidents, and near misses.

legal obligation, e also learn that there’s an obligation for the health and social for the organization to report the event, incidents e.t.c and two acts govern the requirements which are;

*Social and health care acts 2008

*RIDDOR- Reporting of injuries, diseases, and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations of 1995.

Communication and confirmation, we learned that behavior that prevent good communication from occurring are;

not contributing, constructively, or speaking up in meeting
