Course Review

I found the care training very useful and relevant to my role. The content on effective communication, safeguarding, and confidentiality was especially valuable, as these are areas I use every day when supporting service users and working with colleagues. I also appreciated the focus on person-centred care, which reinforced the importance of treating everyone with dignity and respect.

The training has given me practical tools and ideas I can put into practice, such as being more aware of non-verbal communication, maintaining confidentiality in all settings, and applying structured communication models to improve patient interactions. I feel more confident in handling sensitive situations and in working collaboratively as part of a team.

To build on my learning, I will continue to reflect after each shift, seek feedback from colleagues, and look for opportunities to attend further workshops in areas such as mental health and specialist care.

For improvement, I suggest including more real-life scenarios or role-play activities, as this would make it easier to apply the knowledge to practice. Interactive discussions and digital resources for follow-up learning would also be helpful. Finally, shorter modules with regular breaks could help maintain focus and engagement throughout the sessions.

Overall, I found the course very beneficial, and I am confident that what I have learned will positively impact my role and the care I provide.
