The course was informative and covered a good range of knowledge. It flowed well and this made it easy to follow along. The sections were easy to do bits at a time and come back to too. It meant I could do a good chunk have a short break and then continue which worked well for my learning style, meant I could look up some further reading and local children’s safeguarding boards and rest my eye from the screen too.
There were some silly mistakes in the editing of the course such as spelling mistakes, ‘Multidisciplinary’ with a 0 in the middle of it or under ‘Ways to protect yourself’ rather than saying ‘avoid….’ some of the bottom point read as if you should be alone with children. Of course it’s easy to work out that’s not how it’s meant to read but it’s also an easily rectified mistake, that a paid course should have been proof read for.
Anyway overall, the course is still good value for money, has good range and content and is easy to access and do. The work booklet to use afterwards is also handy so pleased with the course overall.

Really thorough course with detailed inputs. One area for improvement would be the audio accompanying the slides and the use of ‘scroll for more’ – the audio for those areas doesn’t flow as it jumps in order of the points, there aren’t short pauses between points to allow listener to move between them. With lists the audio reads the numbers and then again for each point (e.g. 123456789 1 0 . 1……… 2……… etc) It would be easier to follow if the audio for lists and scroll sections could be updated.
It is likely a result of the text to audio function.
Overall however it is one of the more comprehensive safeguarding courses I have seen and I would recommend it for future.
