Martyn’s Law Online Training

The Martyn’s Law online training is designed to raise awareness and prepare individuals and organisations to prevent, respond to, and mitigate the effects of terrorist attacks and other serious security threats. Named after the late Martyn Hett, a victim of the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017, Martyn’s Law (officially the Protect Duty) focuses on improving security and safeguarding measures in publicly accessible locations across the UK. This training supports compliance with the Counter-Terrorism and Sentencing Act 2021 and governmental security guidelines.

   Venue managers and proprietors of public spaces such as stadiums, concert arenas, shopping centres, theatres, and cultural venues will gain critical insight into their responsibilities under Martyn’s Law.
