    It is a very good short course, no doubt. I do feel however the focus is lost. Of course the focus is always on the child, but we are moving more and more away from what we are trained to do, and that is to teach. We take (sorry, I speak for myself), I take extremely rigorous CPD courses every year, and that is in order to keep up to date with the subject I am teaching. Then, I have to acquaint myself with all the policies, the legalities, the online meetings, the grading, the reporting, the planning, and yet all of this on top. I really do think that teachers have an enormous amount of work to do, not only with their own studies, (I have just completed my Master’s in Education), but then I do think in the UK it is absolute overload with what one individual has to do. It is a team effort, and I do think that more courses need to be put on for the parents and the guardians as teachers are the ones who have to take on all of the responsibilities, but I think is wholly unfair.
