When should you call 999 for a seizure?
Call 999 for a first seizure, a seizure lasting longer than usual, or longer than five minutes if the usual duration is unknown. Also call for repeated seizures without recovery, serious injury or breathing difficulties afterwards. Follow the person’s emergency plan, which may require an earlier response.
Does this course qualify me to administer rescue medication?

Review knowledge sooner if someone’s seizure pattern, treatment or emergency plan changes, or an incident identifies a gap.
