Symptoms of personality disorder are not physical. There are different clusters of personality disorders that have been identified.
Treatment options for Personality Disorders include talk therapy, mood stabilizing medication, antidepressants, or anti-psychotic drugs.
Cluster A is associated with eccentric or odd behaviour. An example is Paranoid Personality Disorder where an individual may be suspicious of others and motives are falsely interpreted as spiteful.
Dramatic, erratic, and emotional behaviour characterises Cluster B. An example is Antisocial Personality Disorder, where an individual has an extreme disregard for others and their personal rights.
Cluster C is characterised by fearful or anxious behaviour. An example is Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder where an individual may exhibit an extreme lack of flexibility or is an extreme perfectionist.
