What is Personal Data?

Personal data is any information relating to identified living persons. Pseudonymised data is covered, but anonymised or aggregated data is not regulated by the GDPR or DPA2018 if the anonymisation or aggregation has not been done in a reversible way. People can be identified in many ways, including name, address, phone number, email address, NHS number, or NI number.
