Step 1 - Add Your Classroom
Click “Manage Classroom” and Select “Add Classroom”
- Set up 1 learner per classroom with the courses you choose to allocate
- Set up for a group of courses. Eg “Induction Courses” or “Care Certificate” “Care Assistant Courses” “Management Courses” with multiple students
- Select Manage Classrooms (remove exisiting classrooms) or Add Classroom (Add a new classroom)
- Enter the class name – Either a learners name (Eg – David Smiths Courses or a group of courses (Eg – induction courses)
- If the teacher already exists select this
- Teachers First Name
- Teachers Last Name
- Teacher User Name
- Teachers Email Address
- Password – Use the password given or overwrite it – You will need to notify the teacher. Alternatively they can reset their password and have it sent to them via the login page
- Add courses – Hold the shift key to select multiple courses. Ctrl key lets you select alternate courses then and add from available courses to active courses as appropriate.
- Hit Save
Step 2 - Add Your Student
Click “Manage Students ” from the class name of your choice then click “Add Student”
- If the student already exists tick the box
- First Name
- Last Name
- User Name
- Email address
- Password – Use the password given or overwrite it – You will need to notify the teacher. Alternatively they can reset their password and have it sent to them via the login page
- Â Hit Save
Repeat this process to add more students to the course or for several students see the student bulk upload option available.

Step 3 - Notify Your Student
Click “Manage Students ” then “Email Classroom”
The email classroom button will give you 2 options
- Broadcast Email – This message will be sent to all persons enrolled in that particular classroom only. Its a great way to message multiple students in one message
- Student Welcome Email – When you have entered the text once, it will remember this, For every new student created the welcome email will be automatically sent.

{group_name} has added you to commence with online courses through the Caredemy training platform.

Please note the broadcast and a welcome email is sent from support.te@caredemy.co.uk and not your own email address.
The envelope button will send a message from your own email platform from your email address
Manager Dashboard
- Seats used and remaining
- Email –Â Broadcast email > sends an email to ALL teachers –Â Welcome email – Once sent once, it will save the template – All new teachers will receive this welcome email on setup.Â
- Manage Classroom – lets you see the class name , total students and to delete that classroom – Add classroom – See step 1. Add your classroom
-  Manage Teachers– Either delete the teacher from the class or delete permanently from the system – Add teachers – Add a new teacher or an existing teacher to that classroom
- Â Manage Courses – Add or remove courses from or to the classroom
- Â Student total – How many students are in the classroom
- Â Manage Students– See the teachers dashboard.
- Â Classroom Reports – Details of the students progress
Teacher Dashboard
- Go back to classrooms – manager dashboard
- Add a Student– See step 2 Add student
- Import List – See Import List
- Email Classroom – See step 3 – Notify your student
- Envelope – Send email to the student from your email client
- Edit – Edit Students, name, username, email or delete student from the classroom or delete permanently. The Caredemy site admin gets a notification of any changes made. Â
-  Change password – Cahnge the password for the student, They could also reset from the login page.
- Student Name – Select the studentÂ
- Course Name – select the course
- Filter – Select the changes to take effect
- Last login date – The last date the student was online
- –
- Course Percent completed
- Course completed/progress
- Quiz details – Details of the questions and answers of the student.
- View Certificate – view the certificate of the student
