What is Regulation 17?

As part of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Regulations 2014, Regulation 17 pertains to good governance. Good governance is meant to ensure that providers that processes and systems in place to meet other regulations in the Health and Social Care Act 2008. Have effective governance, assurance, and auditing processes or systems in placen
Be able to assess, monitor, and drive improvement in the quality and safety of services providedn
Be able to assess, monitor, and mitigate any risks relating to the health, safety, and welfare of people using the servicesn
Continuously evaluate and seek improvement in governance and auditing practicesn
Securely maintain accurate, complete, and detailed records of service users, employment of staff, and overall management of regulated activitiesn
Seek and act on feedback from service usersn
